The deputy commander of the Military Region Center for Patriotic Education, Brigadier António Ribeiro, said this Tuesday in Huambo province.
The high ranking officer of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) was addressing an opening of the instruction and methodological meeting of the battalion / group commanders of this military zone, which includes the provinces of Huambo (headquarters), Bié, Cuanza Sul and Benguela.
He said that the restructuring and resizing process of national defence and the Army poses challenges to the staff to face the required pattern of forces and means.
Meanwhile, the deputy commander defended the need for a better combative and educational-patriotic preparation of the staff.
He spoke of observing ethical regulations and principles of professional ethics, strengthening units and sub-units.
