Challenge those cursing parliament to bring no-confidence motion: PM Abbasi

BHAKKAR: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said on Saturday that he challenges ‘those who curse the parliament’ to bring a no-confidence motion in the National Assembly. 

PM was addressing the inauguration ceremony of Prime Minister's National Health Programme in District Bhakkar, where he also distributed PM's Health Cards among deserving persons.

He said that the rival political parties also have power in some provinces but they failed to deliver despite making tall claims.

PM Abbasi said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has always stressed on unity among provinces.

He remarked that PML-N took upon itself to solve the problems of the people of Pakistan, adding that the party has worked tremendously to improve country’s industries.

“We have never backed down from working for people. The amount of work PML-N has done has been unprecedented in Pakistan’s history.”

Speaking about motorways in the country, PM Abbasi shared that previously Pakistan had only 580 kilometres of motorway, adding that even that was made due to efforts of PML-N.

“We are buildings roads for the people for Pakistan. Go to any village and you will see the amount of work [Punjab] government has done for the people,” he added. 

PM inaugurates Faisalabad airport's terminal

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi inaugurated the international terminal at Faisalabad Airport. 

While addressing the inauguration ceremony, the PM remarked that ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government has placed attention on all types of industries in the country while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Faisalabad airport on Saturday.

“There is not a single industry where the government hasn’t worked,” he said, adding that investment has been made in different industries such as gas, electricity, railway among others.

“We have done the work which was unprecedented in last 65 years,” he remarked.

The PM urged that adopting innovation and changing technology is the need of the hour. He also hailed the importance of aviation industry and claimed: "Aviation is the backbone of any economy."

PM Abbasi will also perform groundbreaking of the bridge to be constructed at Kallur Kot on River Indus later today.
