American Airlines Is Adding Another Weekly Route to Cancun This Fall
It’s added more new routes than any other destination in the region since the pandemic: Cancun, the tourism powerhouse in the heart of the Mexican Caribbean.
And while Cancun has been seeing mixed numbers in recent months, it continues to see demand from cities across the United States.
This fall, that will include another one: Oklahoma City, which will have its first Caribbean route beginning in November.
The new Oklahoma-Cancun service will kick off on Nov. 8, with flights once per week on Saturdays, American Airlines confirmed.
The carrier will be operating roundtrips on Boeing 737 aircraft, according to the company.
The flight takes a little under four hours.
