Portuguese charter airline and widebody aircraft wet lease specialist, Hi Fly, has announced the addition of one more Airbus A330-200 as part of its efforts to expand its fleet with advanced, reliable aircraft.
The aircraft, registered 9H-ALC, is expected to provide better comfort and operational flexibility, as well as bring cutting-edge technology and a sophisticated three-class configuration.
The aircraft officially entered service in February and has already travelled to countries including Spain, Latvia, Hungary, Italy, France, Netherlands, Portugal, Canada, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Guatemala, Morocco, Kenya, Tanzania, and Jordan.
The Airbus A330 family is known for its operational efficiency and reliability, with the A330-200 achieving 99.4% operational efficiency rate. It also has a maximum range of 15,500 kilometres, making it suitable for a variety of routes.
The aircraft has a seat capacity of 256: 20 Business Class seats, 17 Premium Economy seats, and 219 Economy Class seats.
Seat pitch sizes vary by travel class, designed for comfort, ranging from 45-inch width in Business Class, 38-inch in Premium Economy, and 32-inch for Economy Class seats. In addition, power outlets and USB charging ports are available, with one port for every two passengers in Economy and one per person in the other classes.
