Sochi Airport Launches New Routes for Summer 2025

Sochi Airport is preparing for a bustling 2025 spring-summer season with a significant expansion of its flight network. Starting on March 30, the airport will shift to its seasonal schedule, offering an impressive 85 destinations, including 57 domestic and 28 international routes. This marks a pivotal moment for the airport as it continues to build on its reputation as a gateway for both leisure and business travelers.

Among the notable updates, Sochi will welcome several new international airlines. Etihad Airways, based in the UAE, will begin operating flights to Abu Dhabi from May 29, offering three weekly flights. Following shortly after, Jazeera Airways from Kuwait will introduce flights to Kuwait City, operating twice a week starting June 26. Air Arabia, also from the UAE, will launch daily flights to Sharjah beginning June 27, further increasing connectivity between Russia and the Middle East.

Several existing carriers will also expand their operations, making Sochi an even more attractive destination for travelers. Flydubai, Gulf Air, Air Serbia, Uzbekistan Airways, and Belavia are just a few of the airlines that will continue their flights from Sochi, offering travelers options to some of the most popular destinations in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Europe.

The Russian airline Aeroflot will continue to offer flights to both domestic and international destinations. Popular routes from Sochi will include Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, and Istanbul, as well as summer favorites like Antalya and Dubai. Aeroflot’s operations will remain robust, catering to increasing demand during the high season.

Low-cost carrier Pobeda will add 10 destinations to its summer offerings. Starting in May, Pobeda will add flights to cities like Nizhnekamsk, Tyumen, and Cheboksary. This will give travelers from Sochi even more options for budget-friendly domestic travel.

Meanwhile, the regional airline Nordwind will expand its service to 28 regional destinations, including the addition of new routes to Volgograd and Orsk. These flights will operate at least twice a week, with the airline using larger Airbus A-330 planes on some routes to accommodate growing demand.

The rise of international travel continues with Azimuth Airlines, which is increasing its global presence. The carrier will begin flights to several popular destinations, including Almaty, Antalya, Istanbul, Dubai, Yerevan, Samarkand, Tbilisi, and Tel Aviv. This expansion will connect Sochi to even more top cities, catering to both tourists and business travelers alike.

Additionally, Belavia, the national airline of Belarus, will increase the frequency of flights between Minsk and Sochi to three times a week starting in June. Uzbekistan Airways will maintain its daily flights to Tashkent and continue offering two weekly flights to Namangan.

Sochi’s proximity to popular tourist destinations in Turkey, Armenia, Israel, Georgia, and the UAE ensures that these routes will be in high demand. Whether for a beach vacation in Antalya or a cultural trip to Tbilisi, Sochi’s expanded flight offerings make it an ideal hub for both domestic and international travel.

For travelers seeking frequent connections to popular destinations, airlines like Ural Airlines will increase their frequencies to Yerevan, Istanbul, and Antalya. With flights to Istanbul operating daily and increased flights to Yerevan, Sochi Airport is set to become a pivotal hub for flights to these regions.

This expansion not only improves Sochi’s connectivity to key international destinations but also solidifies the airport as a crucial travel point for the region, offering passengers more flexibility, convenience, and choices as they plan their travels for the summer of 2025.
