GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - The Grand Junction Economic Partnership released its 2024 annual report on March 25.

The report showed GJEP’s efforts brought in over $91 million in 2024 for Mesa County— almost $40 million more than in 2023.

Key accomplishments GJEP listed included the new Amazon facility, which created 100 new jobs, and the relocation of Goose Gear from California. “We want to show the community what we’ve been up to for the past year and quantify our numbers for that,” said Curtis Englehart, executive director of GJEP. “When we look at that net migration and trying to attract a workforce into the area, the only way you can do that is to create opportunities through jobs.”

Englehart predicted a larger impact for 2025, with projects such as Morgan Mining and the West Star Aviation expansion bringing more jobs to Grand Junction.
