Man accused of killing wife, mother of 4 in their Orlando area home, deputies say
The man accused of killing a woman during a domestic shooting on Tuesday was arrested, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
The suspect was identified as 41-year-old Lamar Bryant. Deputies said he was charged with first-degree murder.
Deputies began investigating after a woman was found shot in an Orlo Vista neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.
OCSO said that deputies responded to a call on the 5200 block of West Livingston Street around 3:45 p.m. for a possible shooting.
At the scene, deputies found a woman in her 40s who had been shot. She was transported to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries.
The sheriff's office said the shooting was domestic in nature.
WESH spoke with family members of the victim, who said there were people at the home when the shooting happened. Some reported hearing multiple gunshots.
Family members identified the woman killed as Takeshia, who went by Keshia, and asked that we use her maiden name, Eads.
