How to Take Advantage of The New Codeshare Partnership Between SriLankan Airlines and Air Seychelles!

Travellers looking to go on a trip between Mahé, Seychelles and Colombo can now explore enhanced travel options. The new codeshare partnership between SriLankan Airlines and Air Seychelles is ensuring access to over 20 destinations for travellers, including Sydney and Melbourne as well as popular cities in India, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.

As the two national carriers place their codeshares on each other’s flights, travellers can continue their journey seamlessly using a single booking. Additionally, their baggage will also be checked in all the way to their final destination. This means that you won’t have to worry about additional tickets or baggage processes.

With the new connection, travellers can explore significantly reduced travel time between the two cities. The options vary from up to 12 hours to approximately four hours now.

Just last year, Air Seychelles signed a codeshare agreement with Qatar Airways. Air Seychelles’ international network comprises five destinations in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, serving Johannesburg, Mauritius, Colombo, Mumbai, and Tel Aviv from its base in Mahé. Additionally, the airline also operates up to 30 daily roundtrips. This includes destinations such as Praslin, as well as various charters to other islands.

We are pleased to boost our codeshare network and presence in the African region through this new partnership. We look forward to working with Air Seychelles to provide our customers even more African destination options in the coming years.

Passengers on SriLankan Airlines can explore from Colombo to 36 international destinations in 20 countries. The new partnership aims to enhance visibility and attract more visitors to Seychelles by leveraging joint activities in targeted markets.

Exploring Connectivity through Airlines

Travellers looking to explore a range of destinations can also look into Hawaiian Airlines‘ new flagship aircraft, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Additionally, travellers looking to explore Africa can also look forward to Saudi Arabia’s plans to establish a new airline base in Riyadh, targeting the African market
