Long flights can be boring without something to keep you entertained.

We've all been there - you're sitting on a plane with all your devices in aeroplane mode, and there's nothing to watch on the in-flight entertainment. Or worse, there's no in-flight entertainment at all. What are you supposed to do to keep yourself occupied for the hours that you're stuck soaring through the air?

Well, according to one woman, you could be watching TikTok videos. That's right, there's a way to keep scrolling through your TikTok feed without the need for WiFi, making it the perfect time-killer when you're on a boring journey with no access to the internet.

Megan Homme unveiled her genius hack in a video on her @meganhomme account, where she revealed she learned about it for the first time just before she boarded a flight, Bristol Live reports. The woman captioned her video: "POV: you just learned how to watch TikToks on a flight without WiFi."

She then showed the whole process so that you can make the most of it before you jett off on holiday. First, open up your own profile page on TikTok and click the three lines in the top right-hand corner. Click the 'settings and privacy' option and then scroll down to the section titled 'Cache & Cellular'.

Here you'll find a clickable option called 'Offline videos', which is what you'll need to tap on next. This will give you the option to download a set number of videos to watch offline, ranging from 50 videos - with an estimated 30 minutes of watch time - all the way up to 200 videos, which should take you around 120 minutes (or two hours) to watch.

The TikTok app explains: "Download videos to watch offline. They'll be refreshed with new content when you're next connected to WiFi."

The downloaded videos will be stored in the 'offline' section of your settings, which is where you'll need to access them to watch them. However, you'll only be able to watch the videos in offline mode and won't have access to the comments section, as you'll need an internet connection to post a comment.

Commenters on Megan's video were floored by the hack, although many joked that 200 videos wouldn't be enough to keep them satisfied for a whole flight. One person wrote: "I need more like 20,000!" While another added: "Thank you sooo much, I'm going on a flight in an hour," and a third posted: "You honestly saved me, I never knew this."
