The Golden State Warriors dominated teams at home this postseason, but they have looked a lot more pedestrian on the road. But after dropping both games in San Francisco, the Dallas Mavericks are down 2-0 in the series and are in a must-win situation at home. Game 3 will tip-off at 9:00 pm ET on Sunday and will air on TNT. We’ve prepared a same game parlay for this matchup with a payout of +919 at FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s take a look at the odds for Game 3.

Golden State Warriors at Dallas Mavericks odds

The Mavericks are 2.5-point favorites at home for Game 3, with odds priced at approximately -110 in either direction at FanDuel Sportsbook. The Mavs are -142 on the money line, which means a wager of $142 would yield a $100 payout if Dallas is able to pull off the victory. The Warriors are +130 underdogs, meaning that a $100 bet would yield a payout of $130 if they take Game 3 on the road. The total, or over/under, is listed at 217.5, with odds listed at -110 in either direction. Let’s get into our same game parlay for this matchup.

Golden State Warriors at Dallas Mavericks player prop prediction: Jordan Poole over 14.5 points (-205)

Jordan Poole has emerged as a budding star for the Warriors this postseason. The former Michigan star is currently tied with Klay Thompson in second place for the highest points per game average on the team during the playoffs, despite having started only five of Golden State’s 13 games. Poole has shot the lights out recently, as he has connected on 52 percent of his attempts this postseason. Golden State will need a strong presence off the bench on Sunday, and Poole has now scored over 15 points in consecutive games.

In the regular season, the guard averaged 12.5 points per game over the course of four meetings against Dallas. Poole averaged 19 points per game on the road during the regular season, and he should provide a spark off the bench in a hostile environment. As the Mavs have focused on slowing down Steph Curry and Thompson, Poole will have space on the court to assert himself. Look for the former Michigan star to show up in a big way.

Golden State Warriors at Dallas Mavericks player prop prediction: Jalen Brunson over 1.5 made 3-pointers (-122)

The takeaway from the first two games of this series should be that Luka Doncic cannot do it all by himself. As great as Doncic is, Jalen Brunson’s contributions will be key tonight if Dallas wants to tighten up the series. Brunson has been very solid against the Warriors this season, scoring on nearly 38 percent of his 3-point attempts in the four regular-season meetings.

In this series, Brunson is averaging 2.5 made 3-pointers, and he has also cleared this prop in two of his last three games. Brunson has already shown his scoring prowess against the Utah Jazz this postseason, and while we don’t see another 30-point performance coming in Game 3, making two threes should be in the cards. Brunson should play well at home, especially since he knows exactly what needs to be done for Dallas to avoid a 3-0 deficit.

Golden State Warriors at Dallas Mavericks total over/under prediction: Under 210.5 points (+190)

For the final leg of our same game parlay, we are going with an alternate total and predict that Game 3 will have under 210.5 points. Putting up 117 points didn’t yield the result the Mavericks were hoping for in Game 2, and they likely won’t win many shootouts against Golden State. However, a game at home means the Dallas defense comes to play.

The Mavs are 5-1 in home games this postseason, and the main reason behind those victories has been the consistency of their defensive play at American Airlines Center. In six games this postseason, Dallas has allowed 100 points just twice, with the highest point total of 104 coming in a Game 2 loss to Utah in round 1. The Mavs held the defending Western Conference champion Phoenix Suns under 100 points twice when playing in Dallas, and the Suns’ highest point total was just 101 in the three road games.

Golden State has a more efficient offense and can shoot better from the perimeter. However, the Warriors averaged just 97.5 points per game in the two games played in Dallas during the regular season. Look for Doncic and company to slow the pace down significantly, in hopes of picking up a massive win on their home court.
