‘You’re not dreaming’ – The Points Guy is wowed by LaGuardia Airport Terminal B

US. The Points Guy (TPG), a leading lifestyle media brand dedicated to the world of travel, has featured LaGuardia International Airport’s new Terminal B as the first episode of its just-launched aviation-focused video series, Airplane Mode.

TPG attracts 10 million unique visitors a month and enjoys a social media audience of over 3 million across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Sammy Patel,Vice President, Commercial at Vantage Airport Group & Chief Executive Officer at Midway Partnership, which operates the terminal, noted on LinkedIn of the video, “Now, like the city that surrounds it, the airport itself is a work of art. The new concessions area is stunning.”

As reported, Vantage Airport Group opened the new-look Arrivals & Departures Hall in June as part of a US$5.1 billion transformation.

The 850,000sq ft complex spans four levels, with the top floor home to a commercial district offering 21 shops and restaurants featuring New York names alongside global brands.

The Arrivals & Departures Hall aims to bring the “vibrant New York spirit” to the airport experience through architectural and design finishes inspired by New York’s neighbourhoods, and a collection of public art installations commissioned for the terminal through a partnership with the Public Art Fund.
