JetBlue adding flights to 17 destinations from Boston's Logan Airport
JetBlue holds the crown for the most nonstop destinations from Boston's Logan Airport.In 2020, the airline said it plans to increase service to more than a dozen cities it already services, with nearly two dozen flights between Boston and New York each weekday. The airline appears to be going after business travelers by expanding nonstop service between Boston and New York's LaGuardia Airport. The airline intends to offer up to 10 daily round trips on the key business route by spring. JetBlue says the expanded service to LaGuardia, combined with service to Newark Airport and JFK Airport will result in up to 22 daily flights to New York’s three airports from Logan.The airline is facing stiff competition for business travelers from both Delta Air Lines and United, which both offer similar frequent service to New York's major airports. Each airline is racing to offer customers an increasing number of non-stop departures from the airport. In 2020, JetBlue says it will offer upwards of 180 daily departures from Boston Logan.
