atik Air has announced it will launch a direct flight from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport serving Jakarta to Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok on Nov. 20.
“The opening of this international flight to Thailand is a form of business expansion, and part of our commitment to deliver the best services for customers,” CEO Achmad Luthfie said in a statement on Monday.

The new route, flight ID-7631, is scheduled to depart every day at 5:40 p.m. and arrive in Bangkok at 9 p.m. The return flight, flight ID-7360, departs at 10 p.m. and arrives at 1:25 a.m.
Passengers will board either the Boeing 737-800NG, with 12 business class seats and 150 economy class seats, or the Boeing 737-900ER, with 12 business class seats and 168 economy class seats. Both aircraft will also be equipped with in-flight entertainment for all passengers.
To date, Batik Air has operated more than 45 domestic and international routes, with a frequency of over 350 flights daily. It is also the third airline from Lion Air Group to open a direct route to Bangkok, following in the footsteps of Thai Lion Air and Malindo Air. (vel/mut)
