Yemenia has begun the upgrade of its short-haul fleet with the delivery of the first of three Boeing 737-800s leased from International Lease Finance. The 737s form part of the airline's five-year modernisation plan, replacing 727s and 737-200s. Yemenia plans to add two 50-70 seaters early next year for domestic routes.
