Turbine Services and Solutions (TS&S), a services provider wholly owned by Mubadala Investment Company, announced engine maintenance contracts with three international airlines at the ongoing Farnborough International Airshow.

The contracts are with Atlasglobal, Yemen Airways, and Asiana, TS&S said in a statement on Wednesday. The values of the deals were not disclosed.

Mansoor Janahi, acting chief executive officer at TS&S, said that the forecasted strong growth in air travel is creating opportunities in the sector.

“The expansion of our global footprint underscores our priority in identifying these diverse opportunities as we direct our expertise and resources to focus on strategic, emerging, and promising aviation markets,” he said.

“In line with our long-term growth strategy, TS&S is pursuing opportunities that will expand its presence across several continents.”

The maintenance, repair, and overhaul services on the engines that power the Airbus A320 fleets flown by Atlasglobal, Yemen Airways, and Asiana will be conducted at the TS&S facility in Abu Dhabi.

The facility is the only V2500 engine repair one in the Middle East and North Africa, the company said.

As part of its core maintenance, repair, and overhaul services, TS&S acts as a third-party supplier and a subcontractor to global equipment manufacturers.
