Dentist office says partner and wife were killed in Greenville plane crash
Bowman, Padgett & Associates, a dentist office in Greenville, says that Dr. Mark Bowman and his wife, Robin, were the two victims in Friday's plane crash in Greenville.
Officials have not released the identities of those on board as of Sunday morning.
The practice made the announcement Sunday morning, releasing the following:
With devastated and broken hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Dr. Bowman and his beautiful wife, Robin in a tragic plane crash. Dr. Bowman blessed our practice with over 30 years of dentistry and nurtured many relationships over those years. His work was admirable, and he was so much more than a dentist to all that were blessed to know him. He was a great friend, a compassionate boss, and a dear partner. Dr. Bowman exemplified what it meant to live a life full of purpose and integrity. He was an inspiration to many that came after him in the dental field and his passion radiated through the lives of all around him. It was a true privilege to be a witness to the legacy he has left behind. Dr. Bowman will forever be in our hearts as we strive to make him proud in all that we do. Please keep his family and our team in your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate your grace and understanding in the days to come.

"Dr. Mark Bowman has had the pleasure of practicing dentistry in eastern North Carolina for over 33 years years. In 1982, he received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Biology, followed by his DDS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986.
Dr. Bowman is actively involved in many relevant organizations including current memberships in the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society, 5th District Dental Society, and the Flying Dentist Association. He is a Lifetime Member of the Dental Alumni Association at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Throughout his career, continuing education has been a focal point for Dr. Mark Bowman. His commitment is evident in the numerous classes and certification courses he completes each year, to ensure state-of-the-art technology and technique benefits his patients and his practice.
