90 Day Fiance: The Other Way follows American citizens moving to or living in foreign countries for the sake of love and their future spouses and experiencing culture shock.

Below is what happened on Episode 2 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's fourth season.

DANIELE and YOHAN

Daniele told Yohan that she wanted to live in the Dominican Republic longer than one year, and Yohan didn't take the news well. However, the couple was about to visit Yohan's family, and so they decided to table the conversation and put happy faces on.

Yohan and his large family of about 16 people -- who apparently all love Daniele -- had always dreamed of Yohan moving to the United States.

"It's a dream for every Dominican," Yohan said.

Yohan's mother said she'd miss Yohan when he left but she was fine with him moving to America.

Yohan and Daniele planned to only stay one night in the house without air conditioning and then move into a hotel.

That night, Yohan told Daniele that they were eventually going to move to New York, but Daniele said she desired a quiet, more simple life near the beach.

Daniele didn't want Yohan to be miserable, but Yohan agreed to try living in the Dominican Republic together for a while and if they weren't happy or struggled financially, he'd want to move to the U.S. and try to find work there.

Daniele thought that was a "perfect" plan. Although Yohan agreed to the plan, he was hoping Daniele's stay in the Dominican Republic would only be temporary.

Yohan told the cameras that while the Dominican Republic is a great vacation destination, Daniele had no idea what it's like to live there on a daily basis. Yohan explained how a life there was going to be very different from her expectations.

The next day, Daniele checked out Yohan's butcher shop and said she was prepared to help him in any way possible, as long as she wouldn't have to touch the meat. But there were flies around the raw meat, which was out on the counter and not in a refrigerator.

"If there's bugs on the meat, I'm not going to buy it," explained Daniele, who was totally freaked out.

Yohan explained how every butcher shop has flies on the meat and that's the way meat is sold in the Dominican Republic. He wasn't expecting Daniele to act with such "disgust." He had been hoping his wife would be proud of his accomplishment and business.

Yohan insisted the meat doesn't have bacteria because it was still cold enough. Daniele couldn't believe people -- even the rich -- bought meat this way; she didn't think it made sense.

Daniele offered to get Yohan a computer to help him organize and understand his numbers. Daniele didn't think he understood how much was going in and how much was going out, and she found it "extremely frustrating."

"I wanted him to open a business so that he can make more money, and it seems like he's now taking all of the money from the job he already had to pay for this business. How is he going to pay for an apartment? How is he going to pay for food? How are we going to have a baby?" Daniele lamented in a confessional.

Daniele said she feared the day Yohan was going to ask her for money, adding how that's "not going to be an option."

Using a spreadsheet, Daniele soon discovered that Yohan was spending more every month than he was making at the local business. She didn't think Yohan was willing to admit his mistakes.

"I really hope he's not thinking I'm going to be his sugar mama, because that's not my plan," Daniele said.

Yohan then admitted he had been hoping Daniele would support him and fund his business since they're married. He was upset about her reaction to his business and how she treated it like a failure.

NICOLE and MAHMOUD

Nicole said her job is more difficult than a person may think. In addition to delivering food, she also resells clothes. She said she loved expressing herself through fashion and telling her story through clothes.

Nicole is from a "boring" small town in idaho and she wanted more for herself. She therefore went to college and lived in several different states in attempt to find out who she really is.

After a decade of traveling around, she finally settled in L.A. and went to fashion design school. She worked a couple of jobs in the industry and hated it, which resulted in her studying meditation and spirituality.

Several years prior to filming the 90 Day Fiance spinoff, she was on a spiritual singles' website and found an ad for a spiritual tour in Egypt.

She thought the trip was magical, and on the last day of her trip, she wandered into a fabric store and stumbled upon "a super cute boy with big brown eyes and big sexy muscles."

Mahmoud was from Cairo, and once the pair got to know each other in Egypt, he jokingly asked her to stay in Egypt -- a place she loved and was mesmerized by -- and be his wife.

Once Nicole returned to the United States, she and Mahmoud talked often and began to fall in love. Five days after her return to America, Mahoud asked if she'd truly return to Egypt and marry him.

Although Nicole had been single and independent for quite some time, she said "yes." Seven days after that, she got on a plane to Egypt to live there.

They married at the Justice Department and then had a wedding party. Nicole said she didn't tell anyone but was madly in love with her new husband. She thought the magic would continue, but then she admitted she was in for "a rude awakening" and living in Egypt was "much different" than she thought.

"I was there for two months and I just needed to go -- get out of there and go back to America," Nicole admitted.

Nicole said she couldn't drive or speak the language and had really struggled with culture shock. She therefore applied for Mahmoud's spousal visa and traveled back and forth between Egypt and America to make their marriage work, which resulted in the pair fighting all the time.

Eleven months into their marriage, Nicole decided to divorce Mahmoud and cancel his spousal visa. She even blocked him.

But Nicole was then shown telling two of her girlfriends how she planned to move to Egypt for the second time.

When asked why Nicole had wanted to divorce Mahmoud from the beginning, she explained how Mahmoud had hire standards for how a wife should behave and dress.

"He tried changing things about me, and I said 'yes' to a bunch of things I shouldn't have," Nicole confessed. "He wants me to cover my body... and then he wanted me to cover my hair. No hugs from men [other than my Dad]."

Nicole said she respected where Mahmoud was coming from, especially because he's a religious man, but she had trouble dealing with his new rules and constantly breaking them.

Nicole's friends wanted to see Mahmoud accept his wife for who she is, but Nicole said she had decided to give Mahmoud another chance. Nicole said she missed Mahmoud like crazy after six months of not being with him.

Nicole gushed about how Mahmoud is honest, pure, loving and courageous.

Nicole still had "a whole list of concerns," knowing she and Mahmoud had "a hard road ahead" of them. But this time, Nicole knew what she was getting herself into and she imagined she'd be able to handle the challenges of living in Egypt better.

Later on, Nicole said she and Mahmoud argued over her drinking habits, and he didn't want her going to places where men hung out. They also apparently fought the most about her clothing options.

Even if Nicole covered her body, Mahmoud didn't like her wearing tight shirts and pants. Nicole said she wanted to "get it right" before moving to Egypt and letting it become a bigger issue.

Nicole said Mahmoud was "trapped in cultural conditioning" and she hoped they could manage their fights better so they wouldn't get out of hand. Nicole was nervous about her second move to Egypt since her first attempt in Mahmoud's country didn't work out.

KRIS and JEYMI

Kris was shown Zoom chatting with her "beautiful baby" Jeymi. Kris said she had been ready to move to Bogota, Colombia for a year. The pair would be meeting in-person for the first time, and Kris gushed about how she couldn't wait. Jeymi also looked forward to hugging and kissing her partner for the first time.

The couple was going to get married only nine days after Kris' arrival, and so Kris family and friends thought she was crazy. Kris, however, called Jeymi her "person, heart and soul mate."

The next day, Kris headed to the airport. She was sad about leaving her children behind, but she was excited to follow her heart and be in love. Kris felt sad about leaving her kids and wondered if she was doing the right thing.

"This is my first time leaving the country ever... where people speak a language I don't speak. It is a big deal," Kris said.

"It's going to be really hard to say goodbye to my kids... but my kids are both adults, and they have their own lives. And it's time for me to have mine."

Kris acknowledged her narcolepsy would be difficult for anyone to deal with and she also hoped she'd have sexual and physical chemistry with Jeymi.

Jeymi, a former pageant contestant-turned-pageant coach, then got her hair done at a salon so she would look her best for Kris' arrival.

Jeymi said she was ready for marriage, knowing such a union is supposed to last a lifetime. But even her hairstylists thought Jeymi should get to know Kris and not rush down the aisle.

GABRIEL and ISABEL

Gabriel was moving to Colombia the very next day to be with Isabel. He said he was feeling "anxious and nervous" to leave his family behind and move to a country he had just recently become acquainted with.

Gabriel felt a time pressure to marry Isabel quickly so that he could stay in her home country.

"You're only permitted 180 days in the country per calendar year, and I've used half of these days already this year," Gabriel explained. "I'm done traveling back and forth... I want to just live the 'American Dream' in Colombia."

Meanwhile, Isabel opened up to cameras about how she's a single mom of two children, Miguel, 11, and Sara, 16. She got pregnant for the first time when she was only 17-years-old.

Her daughter's father was Isabel's first boyfriend, but she said their relationship changed over time and things started to go wrong. A few years after they broke up, Isabel met Miguel's father, a much older man. She said that relationship also didn't work out.

With her parents' blessing, Isabel decided to go to school and get a job so she could provide for her kids. She said she wasn't interested in jumping into another relationship but then she met "Gabe."

Isabel said she felt that "spark" and found happiness with Gabriel.

Isabel then shared how she's great friends with her sister, Sara, who dances competitively for a living. Sara gushed about how she loved Gabriel, who wasn't a controlling or jealous person.

Isabel watched photos and videos of Gabriel's transition and tranformation into a man on social media. She said the fact Gabriel is transgender was a big surprise to her, because she had never noticed feminine traits in Gabriel's body or voice before.

"He looked like a man. I had a lot of questions... Everything was perfectly of a man," Isabel explained.

Gabriel then explained to Isabel how he's transgender and didn't want to keep any secrets from her. Isabel said she felt afraid at first because she never thought in her life she'd like a trans man, but in the end, it didn't bother her.

"We had a connection from the beginning and I wanted to keep talking to him... [But] my biggest fear about telling my parents is they won't accept us," Isabel explained, adding how her parents may try to push her away from Gabriel.

Isabel was afraid of getting her heart broken once again.

JEN and RISHI

Jen was about to move to India in one week. Jen had been living with her mother, brother and sister-in-law, and she acknowledged it was going to be "really hard" to say goodbye.

Jen's family admitted they were going to miss her, and then Jen hesitantly revealed how Rishi's family didn't know about their relationship. Jen said the news was going to shock Rishi's Indian family considering they had "a love marriage" rather than "an arranged marriage."

Rishi's family, however, had agreed to let Rishi choose his own wife.

"I hope they will accept me," Jen said in a confessional, adding how Rishi didn't want to disappoint his loved ones. "It would be devastating if Rishi chose his family over me."

Jen was going to let Rishi set the pace, but since she was uprooting her entire life for him, she was counting on him to marry her -- no matter what his family or anyone else said. Jen wanted Rishi to fight for her, which sounds like a similar dynamic to what Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh went through.

Jen -- who had been married for less than two years once before -- then revealed how she had lost the ring Rishi had given her. Jen insisted her relationship with Rishi was totally different from her marriage with a man whom her best friends didn't like.

Jen's friends worried Jen was "settling" and "rushing" into another marriage, but Jen said she loved Rishi and didn't believe he was too good to be true.

Jen's friends thought Jen was repeating the same unhealthy relationship pattern, moving for the wrong men and giving her best effort with little return and reciprocation. The women thought Jen was making a poor decision and setting herself up for failure.

"I know it's a huge risk, but I need to do this for me. I want this to be for real, the love of my life, and I think it is. I've never talked to someone consistently for two years, even though the majority of it has been long-distance," Jen explained.

Jen told her friends that she trusted Rishi, but he had over 11,000 followers on social media. Jen's friends pointed out how Jen wasn't in any of Rishi's pictures and he'd probably respond to an attractive woman if she reached out to him.

Jen's friends therefore recommended putting Rishi to the test. Jen's pretty blonde friend Randi said she'd send Rishi a message to see how he'd respond, and Jen said she felt comfortable with that because she trusted her man.

Jen hoped Rishi wouldn't respond to the message or would reject her friend's flirty advance.

Randi later reached out to Rishi via social media and revealed his answer was "concerning."

Randi wrote to Rishi how she had been looking through his posts and liked what she saw. When asked how he felt about her, Rishi allegedly responded, "Do we know each other?"

Randi said she found Rishi attractive in his pictures, and then he allegedly asked, "Where are you from?"

Randi wrote how she lived in London, but Rishi didn't respond.

Randi called his "a red flag," but Jen thought Rishi was just confused since his English isn't great. Randi thought Jen was making excuses for him and that Rishi seemed "shady as f-ck" for being willing to talk to a random girl online and ask her questions about herself.

Randi thought Jen, who chose not to follow Rishi on social media, was in denial.
